Hi to all,I am new to your forum but buy no means new to the dewalt tools...I have just upgraded to the dw618 Dewalt Kit that I got from Homedepot after my old craftsman died..the problem I have (if it is a problem)is that when I turn the router on and after it goes thru soft start the speed will go up and down by itself even tho there is no load on the router..I really cant tell if it is doing it while I am actually routing.. Is this what the 618 is supposed to do..thank you

It does not sound like a normal issue. I would exchange it.
