Anyone have experience with this model?
Look fine, and quite cheap.
Any recommendation?

It's a little out dated... Why not go with the DC988, DC925, or the new DCD950? Is it price point? You can pick up the bare DC925 and DC988 on ebay for under $100.

It's offer here in Europe.
2pcs DW997 together with 2 batteries + charger + bag for 202 euro or 260$.
I think it's good bargain. I'm interested in quality on field for this model. Thinking to buy 2 sets for my workers.
Thanks

That's just insane! I met a couple from the UK that were visiting the US, they told me they were buying up all there tools here and then shipping them back home to the UK. They had mentioned that Dewalt tools were super expensive all over the EU, and that it was cheaper to buy them here and ship them home.

It was... Now British Pound is very low, (almost equal with euro). And crisis... Enough reason to cut prices, and ship things to other countries.

I purchased two dw997 naked factory re works from a dewalt factory outlet near where i live for£50 each and as another poster has said they are dated now but that did not bother me and they have been worked hard for 4 months now and proved quite capable and reliable and they told me to bring them back in 12 months for a free service all things considered they are good value.
