Hey Gang,

Any impressions, opinions on the DeWalt variable speed?  I can't seem to find many people that have used it, most seem to prefer Porter Cable's versions to any other.

Isn't PC owned by B&D (which also owns DeWalt)?  Not sure how PC stacks up against the yellow and black ...

If I was on the market looking  for a new sander I would look closely at Porter Cable 390.




And yes Porter Cable is part of the not Stanley/Black&Decker Family. Notice any similarities?

You know, I saw that one and was really leaning towards it seeing as how the other PC looked just like the DeWalt (and I have the finish sander from DeWalt - I'm not fond of the power switch mechanism on it).

Okay, 390 it is.   Grin
