I would like to see an 18V LED work light.  Similar to the recent DC527 Fluorescent, but with rows of LEDs like this one from Vision X.  These are very popular with the Overland Expedition community and would last a long time on a single battery

I agree! I would really like to see a bright, multi-directional, long lasting LED light from DeWalt.

It is really hard to determine the difference between the fluorescent and led light bulb. As far as I know LED flashlight is brighter than the ordinary flashlights. The light focus is also better.

Bulb life, runtime, and durability is the major concern. You have considerable gains in all of those catagories by using a good quality LED, and yes there is a difference.

http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/2010/12/dewalt-12v-max-led-worklight-review-dcl510/ We reviewed the 12V and it blew us away!! I am drooling now in anticipation for the 18V.
