Does anyone know how to remove the U-shaped round chrome stop from a Bosch jigsaw in order to insert the DeWalt flush cut blade DW3311?

The U-shaped stop is shown in these photos.  It comes down from the body and is just above the shoe.

The flush cut blade is shown here:  http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW3311-Flush-Cut-Blade/dp/B000R8GVMG

Thanks for any replies (other than those who say "should have bought a DeWalt jigsaw".

It's not designed to be removed, unless you take the tool apart.
